Salary: Dependent on experience

Hours: 40 hours/week

The Role:


As the Sales & Partnership Manager, you will develop and grow our business by providing advice and support to our customers’ businesses.


Building strong relationships with both new and existing customers, you will:


  • Provide strategic marketing advice, consultancy and business growth
  • Maximise sales of Bigwave Media’s products and services
  • Identify customers’ requirements and recommend ways that Bigwave Media can help them to realise their business potential
  • Develop business leads and prepare proposals
  • Ensure that marketing projects and campaigns are delivered in-line with customers’ expectations
  • Represent the business at networking events


About You:


To be considered, you’ll need:


  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Strong IT, budgeting and report writing skills
  • Initiative, drive and enthusiasm
  • To be commercially astute
  • Superb communication and relationship-building abilities

LAMP Web Developer

Job title: Web Developer

Reporting to: Head of Development

Salary: Dependent on experience

Hours: 40 hours/week

Location: Exeter

As a LAMP Web Developer, you will:

– Work alongside a team of six
– Help to create new websites, pages and landing pages to meet customers’ marketing requirements
– Support changes to customers’ existing web presences
– Complete a range of web development activities to a high standard
– Troubleshoot any issues

Interested? If so, you’ll need experience of the following:

– Object-oriented PHP
– Client-side JavaScript frameworks, such as jQuery, Angular or VueJS
– HTML, CSS and SASS or similar

Experience of the following would be beneficial, but is by no means essential: Laravel development, Linux server-side management and troubleshooting, CMS Development with Joomla and WordPress, OO JavaScript and basic server-side management and/or hosting account set-ups.
