Reporting to: SEO Manager

Salary: Circa, £16,500 depending on experience

Hours: 40 hours/week

We are looking for an organised and motivated individual to support in delivering great SEO results for our client’s Search Engine Optimisation Campaigns and ensure these are completed in a timely and effective manner. Reporting to the SEO Manager and Digital Director, you will be expected to pick-up existing client campaigns and help shape the workflow for our growing department.

There is a lot of potential for rapidly advancement within the company ranks as our department expands its services and client base. You must be an individual with a firm grasp on all things SEO, on top of every development in the industry and not afraid to go the extra mile to achieve results.

This role requires strong Technical SEO, Research and documentation skills.

Experience within a similar agency role is a plus.


  • Research, devise and manage unique SEO strategies for a range of clients across different verticals
  • Be able to manage all of the agency’s SEO offering, including On-page, technical and link acquisition strategies
  • Carry out SEO reviews for key clients, focusing on both on-page and off-page SEO – deliver technical documentation for on-site recommendations
  • Use Google Analytics and other analytical programs to deliver key monthly performance reports to clients
  • Act as a point of contact in office for SEO support and knowledge, including providing up to date guidance to the web development team if required.

Key skills/experience;

  • At least two years’ experience within the SEO industry
  • Experience within a similar role in an agency environment – desirable
  • Preferably educated to degree-level
  • Strong working knowledge of the latest SEO techniques and algorithm updates
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager
  • Familiar with SEO industry tools use (SEMrush, Majestic, Moz, SEO Profiler, Rank Ranger, Screaming Frog etc.)
  • A proven track record in delivering high performance SEO strategies
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • HTML knowledge – highly desirable
  • Excellent presentation and reporting skills
  • A good working knowledge of at least one CMS platform (Joomla, WordPress – highly desirable), but able to work with older or less know ones.
