Account Manager
Salary: Up to £21,000 DOE
Hours: 40 hours/week
Location: Exeter office

The role: as an Account Manager, you will provide a first-class service to customers using our marketing and design services from our Exeter-based office. In this key role, you’ll act as customers’ first line of communication for some high-profile projects. You’ll focus on building strong working relationships and ensuring that customer satisfaction is achieved.


About you

To be considered, you will need:

  • Experience of liaising with customers via the telephone, email and face-to-face
  • Great IT skills, including experience of MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve great results
  • The ability to effectively prioritise tasks

Our dream Account Manager will also have experience of the following, but this is by no means essential: working in a sales environment, procurement, digital and traditional marketing, copywriting and presenting.

It is essential that the post holder has:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • PC desktop skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • The ability to clearly prioritise activities/tasks in accordance with set requirements
  • The ability to ensure activities/tasks are delivered on time and to specification
  • The ability to communicate fluently with clients using the English language
  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve desired results

It is desirable that the post holder has skills in working with:

  • Marketing planning
  • Marketing strategy
  • Google Analytics, Google AdWords and pay-per-click advertising.
  • Presentations
  • Spreadsheets
  • Databases
  • Word processing software
  • A customer focus: The ability to act promptly and politely to customer requests and to meet and exceed their expectations.
  • A problem-solving outlook: The ability to identify where problems exist within the scope of one’s responsibility and bring such problems to the attention of senior staff.
  • Initiative: The ability to offer suggestions for improving working practice and systems.
