As an Account Director / Marketing Consultant, you will be front and centre, delivering marketing consultancy for predominantly business to business, trade and leisure clients across the UK. You’ll be leading on client strategy, drafting and initiating marketing plans and ensuring our agency team delivers business growth to our clients.
This role involves travel.
You will provide strategic marketing advice and consultancy to clients, which will often include on-site support at the client’s premises. Leading client meetings you will review client needs, draft and agree marketing plans and review or report on current activity. You will project manage integrated client campaigns to specific schedules and within budget.
As the strategic lead, you will be able to audit existing marketing activity and map out new opportunities and direction.
You will occasionally host client events (as required) including ‘Visioning days’, contract meetings and client entertainment. You will also support new client proposals and pitches, help increase client upsell, agency service development and focus on client retention.
To support you will be a designated Senior/Account Manager, whom you’ll line manage, plus a team of 45+ passionate and knowledgeable colleagues.
To be successful as an Account Director / Marketing Consultant, you’ll need a strong background in marketing, previous agency experience and a broad understanding of marketing channels, platforms and tools across both traditional and digital.
With your key responsibility to drive client marketing output and manage their contractual provision, you will need strong communication skills to lead meetings, draft copy, write briefs and the ability to liaise with internal staffing from across the agency.
