The Brief
Leisure Warrington joined Big Wave Media when they signed up to 'The Big Solution' – a package that includes the bespoke design of a website. Leisure Warrington required a Health and Fitness website to showcase the Leisure Services and Facilities that it offers across the North West. Its existing online presence was limited to a number of pages contained within a Council website. They needed the website to be AAA accessibility compliant.
The Solution
Through an initial consultation a wireframe was fleshed out to detail the content of the proposed website and a rough feel for the structure and look of the site. Leisure Warrington took Big Wave through a range of sites they liked as well as competitor websites.
With the wireframe in place and a good feel for the direction of the visual an initial graphic was mocked up to show what the site might look like when completed. The mock up was approved and Big Wave created the empty shell and liaised with Leisure Warrington to populate the site.
The site has it's own content management system meaning Leisure Warrington are now able to take control of their own site, updating and editing it in real time.
